Everyone at school says im popular but i dont think i am??? And when i tell them im not they same yes you are stop saying your not why is that???

Because they are complimenting you and you're rejecting their complement, so they try to push it back on you, it's like if someone calls you pretty, they might be jealous. By saying you're not pretty, you might make them feel bad since they may think they are not as pretty as you, or as popular in this case.
That sounds confusing, heh, hope you get what I mean. :P

Sometimes, people see themselves as less than what other people see them as. This seems to be your case. You probably think you are less popular then you are, but others know that you really are. Don't doubt yourself! Bask in it while you can! Have a party, go to the movies, have fun!
