The best song out there now is by a group named Heartland and the song is titled "I loved her first" it is such a touching and beautiful song. I hope you take the time to listen to it.

Are you looking for a song choice or asking if you should have the dance? I am not great at picking songs but of course you should dance with your dad. Even if your 60 and he's 80 and can still stand.

The father daughter dance is so precious. It is a wonderful moment to be shared no matter what age you are.

Well, there is one song I like. What is it called? Maybe others can read this and help. I think it is called Beautiful World? I love Butterfly Kisses too. I don't care how old you are it is a lovely song.

The only thing your age should have any reflection on is your choice of dress. A younger bride can get away with a little more.

Choose a song that is meaningful to you & your father. If you sang, "I'm a little teapot" to him growing up or if he sang a special song to you, then use that. No where is it in the 'rule book' that it has to be wedding-ish.

If you are looking for a song for your father/daughter dance you may want to consider:

"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong
"Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle
"You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker

My husband danced with his daughter to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. It was very touching, brought a tear to my eye! Good luck on your choice, but I think this should be it!

It should be special to you and your dad. I did not cry during when my parents (both my mom and dad walked me down the aisle), during my wedding vows, or during my first dance with my husband, but when I danced with my dad to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong with my dad, I cried!

I think that duo with Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole "Unforgettable" would be lovely.
