A victimless crime is when there is no victim. Like for instance, if I was arrested for possessing pot. I would be the criminal in a crime that had no victim. As for victimless sin? I've never thought about that before (I don't think about sin a whole lot in general). I think the concept of sin is between you and your god. It isn't about a victim, it's about what you've decided to do. If you decided to cheat on your wife, even if she didn't know, then it would still be sin, because god would know. And according to the Bible, god is the only judge. So I guess while you were on Earth it wouldn't matter. But then whenever you hit the bucket and head to wherever you believe you go, god may be real mad at you.

There is no such thing as a victimless crime in a free society. Adultery in your heart is not a crime - it is victimless. According to the ancient canons of the Church (codified at Nicea, 325 AD), any sin commited in the mind/heart is not sin, and is not subject to punishment, either in this life or the next. But thought-crime is discouraged, because mental ascent tends to precede act.
And there is a difference between 'sin' and 'crime.'

.A victimless crime is any charge where no persons life or property ,has been taken, injured ,damaged or destroyed . A sin is different than a crime .You will be punished by the guilt you feel by damage to your relationship and life , by your neighbor if he catches you ,and possibly by the divorce when your wife leaves you penniless.Examples of victimless crimes are pot, driving without a license or suspended ,not wearing a seat belt .Most crimes where government claims to be the victim. How ever a victim has to be a living breathing creature capable of feeling emotion and pain

Hard to imagine a victimless crime! A spouse who cheats in secret is kidding himself if its ok because his wife doesn't know. Only a psychopath/sociopath could not bring this action into the marriage in at least subtle ways. Crimes have costs at some point....there is always a vicitm on some level.
