We have no idea what Mom's dog is mixed with. His mother was very small...maybe 11 pounds. She was his color but looked like a chihuahua ...kinda....lol.

He is 3 times her size now that he is full grown.
Any ideas about what breed might be in him?? I have no clue!!

HES THE ONE ON THE RIGHT!!!

He is a really tough one, and he could have Many breeds in him. But i would guess beagle/pointer.

I do not think that puppies nails are too long. They look pretty short to me. They are pink, except for the VERY tips. You can Maybe take like a millimeter off....

By the markings I can tell he is mixed with Australian Cattle Dog. The mix however is a bit tough. It could be an Itallian Greyhound or some small breed of terrier. Or it could be possible that the mother was a Chihuahua mix of some kind.

Mutts? tremendous canines to undertake from the pound. in case you purchase one, you're a fool. there is not any such aspect as a responsible breeder of a blended breed puppy - a responsible breeder breeds to augment the breed - can not be done through blending. blended breeds can not be shown in conformation trials. As for health, temperament, etc., it is a crapshoot with a blended breed. they may well be fit than both make certain, or they might have each and each and every of the topic matters from both mom and father. maximum persons breeding blended breeds do no health tests or genetic sorting out - so that you fairly don't understand what you have become. you're get mutually is a cocker spaniel-poodle blend. you want the "friendliness" of the spaniel plus the "intelligence" of the poodle (I gained't contact upon the characteristics you picked) - yet what in case you get the intelligence of the spaniel and the friendliness of the poodle? not in any respect *purchase* a blended breed puppy.

Reminds me of german shorthaired pointer.

By the way the one on the left is definately due for a nail trim, those nails are getting pretty long. Can't see the toes of the one on the right.

The size and markings minus the splotches suggest a german border collie.

Splotches resemble those of a German shorthair pointer or perhaps the Australian cattle dog

Mutts need love too. Sometimes they're so ugly that they are cute. I just took a look, ya'll have some pretty dogs. They definitely have hound in them.
