I'm a guy and commitment begins with me. I have to be committed to my values, my integrity, my sense of beauty, devotion, loyalty and joy of life. These things cannot be sacrificed for anything and if I felt any woman were asking for that I would show her the door. This my edge, my advantage that I bring to a relationship. It is truly a Man's sense of commitment, not that of a boy.

It means your man will be attending a mental institution or will put you into one. Those are the only contexts in which the Pledge allows us to use that word, barring the obvious "saying anything to get in your pants now" trick as discussed above.
Oh it also can mean "you stay faithful to me while I do what I want" but I assume your question meant OTHER than that.

"Loss of freedom." I'm not kidding. Friends of mine have been getting married that last few years. I'm sure they're happy with their wives, but they can't do anything without asking their wife. Its hilarious and pitiful.
