I don't have it but I do have to consciously control my thinking. I find drivers on the road to be rude but when they cut me off, drive slow in the fast lane, honk for no reason, etc. I remind myself that it is not about me but about their own level of stress. Their wife was rude to them that morning, their kid is sick, they just lost their loved one, etc. It is not only likely true but keeps me calm.
Peace out.

I'm current at the half century point in my life. I've been a long haul truck driver, as well as currently a cab driver.
Fortunately, I learned early on that getting mad gets you nowhere, except into more trouble. Getting angry can cause you to miss what else is going on around you, and that can result in an accident. When I see someone doing something dumb, I just back off and let do it. As a result, I've driven for nearly 35 years, without a significant accident, aside from the usual being bumped in the rear, until last month. And even then, if I had been a fraction of a second faster on the brake, he would have missed me, and even than, I was not the cause of it. That's 2 1/2 million miles of driving without an accident. I have not hit anyone, nor has anyone hit me, except in the rear, and those are less than a dozen times.
If anyone would like to watch my travels, I will be broadcasting a live web cam feed from my new taxi cab in a couple of weeks.

I've experienced that, yes, but I've tried to be professional about it in the past. In present occupation two or more moving vehicle violations is grounds for immediate termination. I have not had one since 1989 and that was for motorcycling 35 in a 25 zone.
When I'm dangerously angry my southern speech inflection becomes pronounced and that old country boy inside wants to come out.

Yes. it only takes 1 stupid manuver to upset me. Someone stuck his foot out the other day as I was screeching away from a stoplight. I never hit the brake & I think I snapped his foot off as I heard a CRUNCH as i went past the guy. There was no damage to the vehicle so it had to have been his foot snapping off!

people that pull out in front of me and nearly cause an accident and those other people that do a lane change front of me causing me to use my brakes and turn instantly instead of of coming behind me to make their turn. Makes me wish I had a monstrous push bumper. Its a good thing I have good brakes. Drivers seem to want to test them often.
