This may probably sound mean, but you must trick it into a kennel. Lock it up, then slowly walk 2 the car. You don't want it to be frightened enough.
Vets won't get bitten, I'm sure if you warn them, they'll wear some gloves.
Oh, for your fright of your dog biting you, wear gloves, and feed it some snacks.
That's all I can say. Best of luck!

Even this dog needs to be socialized. Having a dog that bites of any size is just not acceptable. Put a muzzle on this dog and pick him up and take him to the vet. Have the vet offer him treats or even peanut butter to make the trip more pleasant.

i recommend transporting your dog in a travel crate/carrier but first of all, your dog has to associate being inside that crate with pleasant memories. Put your dog's favorite toys and treats inside the carrier so your dog can be coaxed into going inside the carrier...try this a couple of time before the actual trip to the vet so your dog can be confortable being inside the carrier. Once at the vet, advise your vet that your dog is uncomfortable around people so there might be a danger of being bitten accidentally. Your vet will then take the necessary precautions to avoid being bitten. Lastly, learn to socialize your dog with humans, other dogs and pets by taking her for walks, arranging doggie parties, going to dog parks (although since your dog is still taking his shots, this might not be a good idea since his immune system might not be strong enough yet) and enrolling him in obedience class.

A Chihuahua is small enough to be transported in a cat carrier to get to the vet. If you can't pick him up with out him biting, he needs some training as well. Try picking him up and holding him before you feed him. This will help him associate getting held with something positive and may help calm him down a bit.

Pet Smart and other pet stores sell anti-anxiety tablets that help mellow him out during stressful events. They're not harmful as long as you don't give it to him all the time. Usually Vets recommend it when pets are going to travel on an airplane or during the 4th of July.

Put him in a pet taxi (pet taxi is the best bet) and when you get there the vet is experienced and will more than likely put a mussle on him so nobody gets bit... Be the alpha and let him know that the behavior he is putting out is UNEXCEPTABLE!! But do put him in a pet carrier so that he feels secure..
