Hurricane season in the Caribbean (Atlantic) begins at the end of June and ends in late September. Costa Rica only feels the after effects months later, in monsoons and torrential rains.

hurricane season is from june thru september. but if you are planning on going to the carribean during these months, you might want to consider going somewhere outside of the hurricane belt such as aruba, bonaire or curacoas, maybe even trinidad/tobago
