William's suggestions are great. If that is a bit outside your price range, keep in mind that Domaine Serene also makes an entry level pinot called the "Yamhill Cuvee" which will come in a bit cheaper than the Evenstad. It's also consistently well made year after year.

At an even lower price point, King Estate makes an entry level Pinot Noir at around the $25-30 range which is consistently good, though not stunning.

Cheers!

Addendum:
It's really tough to tell you what "The Best" wines are without knowing your personal preferences. For example, what is your budget? For me, I'm always searching for "the best" pinot I can get for $50 or less. Also, do you like the ripe, rich California style of Pinot, or the more elegant and lighter style of Burgundy?
