and I hate to have to buy a dress that I most likely won't wear again so I'd like a dress that is appropriate and cheap.

JC Penney. They tend to have great sales and deals on dresses in may different styles.

Depending on your age, Wet Seal has some adorable, fair priced dresses. I wish I were younger.
You are speaking of attending & not being in the wedding aren't you?

Otherwise, Ella Park is a good place for affordable bridesmaid dresses.

Have you tried a discount store such as TJ MAXX or Marshalls? They usually have alot of dresses to choose from and are cheap. I would also try target.

Try David's bridal. In february they always have a GREAT sale ($99) or so on dresses.

at oldnavy.com they have some dresses in their clearance/bargin section, i know there are at least two for under 20, but hurry! Also try newport news
