Can I change the date for existing plane tickets?

in january me and my husband bought round trip plane tickets canada-romania-canada with the return date in may, with ultimate fares.if we would like to go to canada earlier it is possible to change the date for the plane tickets and how? what is the procedure?

Contact the airline. You'll probably have to pay a change fee (usually around $25-$50 each ticket) and the difference in the airfare - if you were to buy the tickets now, and they're $100 more expensive, you have to pay that $100.
