When I got my cat he was living outside in a shed, he was covered in fleas. I bathed him everyday for a week too, and through his white hair, his skin was all red from the flea shampoo. I cried and cried because I had never seen a flea before in my life and he was completely covered. The second he hit the water, the fleas would travel from his body to his face and try to get in his nose, eyes and mouth. There was blood in his fur from the fleas releasing themselves. I was so sad. But after that he was free from the fleas and a happy little kitty.

That's great! Have you tried combing kitty as well? Combing will get rid of the dead fleas, dry skin and any thing that is left behind from the fleas. I don't know how old this kitten is tho. Or I would suggest a flea collar. Might want to check in with a veterinarian about that. Nice job on getting rid of the fleas! Bet kitty is happier too.

That's great. Make sure you use a flea treatment very month so he'll stay flea free. Advocate is great. It goes on the back of the neck once a month and also protects against mites and some common worms too. Advocate is available from your local Vet, most pet stores or online at: http://www.aussiepet.com.au/search.php?mode=search

umm , i wouldnt use people shampoo on animals cause the johnny shampoo can cause the kitten a bad health and it isnt good thing keep useing human shampoos on any pets . well make youre kitty feel sick or maybe make him stuffer and end up dead early age . you should go to the pet store buy a real pet shampoo that only use on kittens and cats . doesnt cost much .

She's been by alot to be having the strain of a tub positioned upon her. Get some kitty wipes from the cat section at WalMart or Petco and wipe her down with that. scuffling with a tub will in all probability rip her sutures and that they could be stored dry.
