Love ya is like puppy love, which will be forgotten when you get out of school or move away from the guy...Love you is I want to get to know you better and I don't mean in a friendship way...
...and if he is just always trying something physical, he just wants to **** you...He wants a piece of ***...

It depends on the person. Some people say love ya and it means the same to them as love you while others say love ya in a casual way and love you in a more serious way. Just talk to him about it, he's the only one who can give you a straight answer for that, good luck.

It's not official, but he likes you and even loves ya. Make it something and he will love you. You guys are very close and just kiss him on the cheek playfully and if he kisses you back, then it is something even more cool. If not, he will still like you. You are in a love ya stage.

i dont know. he could be saying love ya but actually mean love you with out implying it in that way. i say love ya to my friends all the time but thats just odviously a mate thing but i don't say it to boy mates. so there may be a little spark between you, you just need to get the fire going. but who's going to start it??

love ya is more cute and casual, yes it is a bit different than "I love you"... imagine "LOVE YA!!" being thrown in some huge romantic movie. It's a small cute sign if anything. My gay friends say "love ya" or "I love you in a nonsexual way" (it's kind of funny)

i hate to be the bearer of bad news...but you need to realize this:
love ya ~~ buddy to buddy
love you ~~ is saying that they love you (comittment)
so when your friends says that he loves ya...well he's basically saying that he loves you as a friend...or a brother...you know...believe me i had the same thing happen to me...the guy that i liked kept sending me text messages saying that this: love ya (and then my name)...and i'd say it back...but yet he really never said it to my face...because he was also afraid that it might mean that he loved me (like a commitment)...but then he told me that he loved me after about 4 months of textmessaging...so maybe you should try to play it cool for now...and kinda hint at the fact that you like him...you know be like love you...but then you might say oops...i meant love ya...sorry and then keep doing that for a while...but you know...good relationships are very few...but there are alot of great friendships...and it sounds like you have a great one...i'd be really careful...because the guy that i liked was also my best guy friend...and i lost him after being with him for 5 months and we were like really good friends for about a year...so you see make sure that you think this through...
hope my message helped,
bye**

Love ya don't mean anything big really, don't mean i love you. It's like saying i like chatting with you or your a great friend, but not my best friend.

i don't know this guy so i have no idea. some guys are comfortable saying it to friends and others would only say it to someone they were romantically in love with. i don't think there's a difference between 'ya' and 'you', though.
