I'm 5' 2" (female) and I'm 21 years old. I weigh between 129-131 right now. It's horrible, I feel disgusting. I went to the gym for over a month straight, 4-6 days a week (40-60 min. of cardio and small weight training) and ate about 1200 calories a day or less. I lost 3 pounds during the first 2 weeks, and then didn't lose anymore weight. I felt like there was no point going to the gym anymore. I know it takes time to lose weight, but I wasn't getting any results on the scale, and that's so discouraging. I know people say I'm building muscle, but I'm mainly doing cardio.... Why am I not losing more weight?

everyone's body reacts differently even to the same
excerises, done the same amount of time, and everyone eating the same food with the same serving size because of the way
your body metabolizes your food.

Get a buddy to run, walk, swim, dance, skate, and simply have
a good time doing physical activites with and try to stop worrying
about EACH little pound. Eat a lot of fresh fruit and veggies, drink
pleanty of water and stick with your weight lost routine. (you did
see a doctor before you started, right? Good Luck!

What does your diet consist of? Your metabolism is probably not sped up, you need to do weight training to increase metabolism. Cardio burns fat but by itself is not that efficient. Combine with lots of B vitamins and weight training to advance yourself.

A month isn't long enough. It took me about 6 months to see real results.
