My hair is also wavy but is very easy to straighten.

This is sort of a "roll". You can grab a small section of hair on one side and twist it up and back (sideways counterclockwise), add a little more hair twist again and so on then clip it at the back (when you are at the center of the back of your head) while you do the other side the same way. When you are done twisting both sides, either clip it or put it in pony tail holder. It is fast and easy to do and looks very pretty. My hair is probably a little bit longer than yours and I have shorter bangs but I think this would still work on your hair. Enjoy!
