I met this guy on the internet 5yrs ago, and we are now thinking of meeting up. I am only 5feet tall, and he is six feet tall. He knows how tall I am, but am wondering if it really matters that he is a foot taller than me. What do you think???

Some guys really like petite woman, they like to feel protective. You are who you are and you can't change your height, he'll either
like you or he won't. At the end of the day it won't be an issue of size.

Hell no! I once dated a girl that was 5' 1" and I was 6' 4" but I wore 5 inch heeled shoes which made me 6' 9" (yea it was back in the mid 70s) and we had a great time. It was only tough to kiss her good night. She had to stand two steps up from me in order to kiss her but it was still great.

No, it doesn't matter. My Dad is a liitle over a foot taller than my Mom and they have been married for 51 years. So don't let it get to you. Good luck. :)

I'm 6' 5" my girlfriend is 5' 3" (a whole 14 inches different) and the height difference is no problem for us.

That's what high heels are for. :-) JK...why on earth would it matter if he is taller than you? It might take a little more effort to kiss him or something, but who cares? If he's a great guy, then what difference does it make?

That's really a relative thing that can vary from man to man. If he's known about it for five years and doesn't mind then its all good right? I'm personally ok with it.

i don't think it would really matter as long as you got along well together and enjoyed doing the same things.
people put too much emphasis on looks in today's society.
go with how it feels when you are together.
