Whiteman is the only ACTIVE military base in MO. (B2 bombers)
Rosecrans Air National Guard at the St. Joseph, MO airport.
139th Airlift Wing... some changes were planned under the recent BRAC.
Richards-Gebaur Air Reserve Station was closed in the 1990s. It was converted into a rail-truck facility.
Missouri Air National Guard at Lampert-St. Louis International Airport... 131st Fighter Wing...do not know if it is still there. The last BRAC had it listed for closing.

Just as a clarification, there is no AF base in St. Louis. That is an Air National Guard base at Lambert. I believe there may be other AF bases in Missouri, but they may also be ANG posts for training. Break out a road map. They always show military bases.

There is NO guarantee that you will be assigned to Whiteman AFB (or another other base) regardless of specialty.
