This isn't the automatic litter box that you plug in and rakes the clumps into a container. This one has a waste container on the side of the box that collects the waste when you manually roll it back and forth. It goes for about $30 or so.

Sounds like a great product, but I'm wondering if you have any reviews on it.

I know where you're at. I bought one of those automatic litter boxes and it worked out great. When it finally wore out (a couple years, maybe more) I went looking for a cheaper alternative. I saw the one you're talking about at PetSmart but I didn't try it. I bought a couple of similar ones but the results compared to the auto one were less than satisfactory. I went back to the LitterMaid. Sorry, but it's worth the investment. And I don't think anyone is less a responsible pet owner because they don't want to scoop out the box everyday.

Sometimes people have reasons for needing a better litter box. I myself have 7 cats and have thought about a better litter box many times. I am not lazy because I do not want to scoop everyday, just may want an easier way to do it. I have not ventured into this litter box, because I think it sounds good in theory, but will be almost as messy as a old litter box. The "poop" is still going to have to be cleaned out.

I also have a problem with my dogs snacking in the litter box. I know that is gross, but it happens. I think a self cleaning electric box would be the way to go in my case.

Have a great day, scratch kitty behind the ears for me.

Waste of money, freind. So it has a side box where you can collect the solids out of the litter box, but without actually flushing the poop or otherwise getting rid of it in the outside wastebasket, how on earth are you to keep the litter box odors out of your house? I manually scoop out my cats poop immediately (or almost immediately) after they do #2 and scoop out the wet parts of urine once a day. It's the only way I know how to keep your home smelling sweet no matter what litter product you use. Really... get an extra large litter box and a good litter filler and clean or scoop manually. Its part of the "joys" of cat guardinaship. :)

Just don't want you to spend $30.00 on a useless product when you can spend it on really good premium cat food to make your kitty healthy and active. :)

In my opinion, I wouldn't even bother with any thing like that. If a person doesn't have the time or energy to scoop poops out every day. That is pretty sad. I think that this kind of litter box is a waste of time, money and well, not effort. Go with a regular box, get a pooper scooper and save your self about $20 or so.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7eq

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.
