That IS the CNAs scope of practice -- to assist the patients with their daily activities; whether it's helping them get to the bathroom or changing their diapers; helping with grooming (brushing teeth and hair, shaving, etc.); or helping them eat their meals.

Yes they can.A CNA does everything an STNA does.The only difference is that a stna makes more money, and also, their state tested, or state certified.
