Fergus Henderson. His approach to cooking is inspirational and can be best summed up as 'nose to tail eating' meaning eating more than just the prime cuts of meat. Anthony Bourdin is a huge fan too.

I like Harold from Top Chef. His dishes are always so well thought out, out together and presented. I also like Bobby Flay from Iron Chef, I never knew how many things you could grill and the recipes that Ive tried are always delicious!

Jamie Oliver.
I love to cook, but I've always been a "scientific" cook - neurotic about measuring. (I even measure out the water for pasta whereas some people just fill the pot!). Jamie's given me the confidence to cook a bit more loosely, in that he uses terms like "a handful" of herbs. Aack! How would I have gotten it right?!
The truth is that experimenting is OK and handfuls are OK. And it comes out just fine!

Jaime Oliver. He has inspired thousands of people who didnt know how to cook to at least try it because he makes everything so simple and easy to follow. These days nobody wants complicated recipes with 25 ingredients and as many steps.

RICK BAYLESS!! he has devoted his life to true authentic mexican food. his book "authentic mexican, regional cooking from the heart of mexico" is a book i read like a novel. the kicker is he's white!! and i love that he loves mexicans and has found the heart of our food. i'm a mexican from texas, where tex-mex reigns, but when i want true authentic mexican i ONLY cook up rick's recipes. i dont trust anyone else. he once had a pbs spot, and he even could pronounce the spanish ingredients correctly. heck he taught me thing i had no idea about. to me he has a true passion for mexican food and culture.

Paula Dean. She looks like she actually EATS the things she cooks. She has her husband and kids on her show. She makes things that go over REALLY well at third Sunday at my church. We're talking first class church lady food here. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY cooks like a southern Baptist church lady!

Julia Child was the one who inspired me as a child watching her on t.v. It was sad when she passed away. She is in my opion the pioneer of t.v. cooking. She always made me smile & realize I should try different types of foods.
