John 19:25-27. Jesus was on the cross dying and He made sure as one of the last things He did was to see that His mother would be taken care of.

Jesus said no and Mary basically said to do it anyway so he did.

Jhn 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
Jhn 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
Jhn 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do [it].
Jhn 2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Jhn 2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
Jhn 2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare [it].

If Jesus ever failed to honor his mother, than he would have been imperfect and sinful, and his death on the cross would have afforded nothing.

John 19:26,7--- Where in His extremity on the cross, He made provision for her continuing care by John. (This sort of proves He didn't have any younger brothers or sisters, and that Joseph had died by that time)

i can't give you the scripture cause i've never heard of jesus being respectful to his mother, but i know of one time he was like "pshhh gurl step off", and that was when she was thinking that she'd get her other kids a place right next to him in heaven.
