i can't recieve a call from detention center???

Question

see heres the thing i have a cousin that is at a detention center in bracketville texas
the only way to keep in contact is obviously by phone.. we had been in contact with him the first weekk a few days after.. we suddenly stopped recieveing calls...we got a letter from him in the mail that said the phone line was blocked and he cant call us??
does anyone know how we could resolve this issue

If you have not put a block on your phone then he is being blocked by the prison from making the call.

There is probably a collect call block on your phone account. The first thing you have to do is whoever is in charge of your phone account needs to call your phone company and lift the block. If that doesn't work then you should call the detention center and find out if there are any restrictions on their part. I hope this helps and you get ahold of him.

Generally, phone privileges of inmates are unabridged unless an inmate abuses them. Social phone calling may be restricted or denied for disciplinary purposes for a protracted period. Blocking of phone calls may be requested by the person receiving collect calls from inmates. The institution I worked in did not allow inmates to receive social phone calls from the outside. Call the institution where your cousin is incarcerated and ask them why he is not allowed to make calls.

Someone did something. Contact your phone company. Either HE's done something wrong and cannot make phone calls or someone called your phone company.

contact correctional billing at 18008446591. you have to get permission from the correctional company and get a spending limit. Also you have to pay the bill with a credit card or debit card
