As a Nam era vet I support your objections to Hanoi Jane. However I don't know who Boston store is. If you mean Boston Market...they can have her.

So what? She's still an American citizen, with the right to vote and voice... under the American Constitution. outpostfl.... you're not the only one with a relative killed in Vietnam. We can only thank heaven that there there were no more names carved on the Vietnam Memorial Wall than there are today! Thank God so many of us still have our daddies to grow up with...

By the way, if the Vietnam War had continued, McCain would probably be a mere number with the rest of more American corpses in the Vietnam prison!

Carried many of my men off in a poncho but to this day I think of how they fought and died to save ALL the people of our country in that war far from our shores. Ms. Fonda had and still has every right to protest war that right is guaranteed by our constitution. Although it seems that those rights are sometimes stretched to the limit those rights remain. I believe that Ms. Fonda over-stepped the rights that we hold strong when she mounted that Vietnamese gun emplacement. We all know that she was not the only person to sit with our enemy in time of war yet those names have been buried in time. I won't soon forget the faces of my Brothers that perished in that war and I won't soon forget the faces of those who broke bread with our enemy.

She regrets what she did - it's time to let it go. One minor celebrity doesn't have the kind of influence to affect the outcome of a war.
