Congratulations!
Yes.. make a doctor's appointment. They might do an ultrasound, and you could see your little blob! (If they do one this early, they can more accurately predict your due date)
There really isn't anything you "need" to do. Go buy some books. I always felt the need to do something related to my pregnancy.. and reading helped me to be able to wait until the baby was born.
Good books? What to Expect while your Expecting is great. But there are many others too. Browse, and if you buy two try to buy each from a different view point. (Because most will contain a lot of the same info)
Another thing you can do is try some yoga. Buy a video especially made for pregnant women. I liked "Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rea". She has a woman in each trimester demonstrating how to do each pose--and the poses change a little for each trimester. This will help you in the long run with back pain and labor.
Also, I assume you know this, but quit drinking/smoking/jumping on trampolines/horse back riding.
Headaches can definitely be caused by pregnancy. Keep in mind, (as far as I know) most medicines are not safe while pregnant. Especially Advil (Ibuprofen) and aspirin. If you need to take something, most doctor's will suggest acetaminophen (Tylenol).
And you can always take pictures of yourself.. So you can remember what your body looked like before going through pregnancy. I like the idea of taking pictures either weekly or monthly to record how your belly grows.
Again, congratulations!

Definitely see a Dr. ASAP but in the mean time get some prenatal supplements and drink lots of OJ for the folic acid start eating healthier and just enjoy this experience. The Dr. will tell what to do next, don't take anything you don't absolutely need until you have discussed it with a Dr. it could be bad for the baby...and make sure you tell the Dr. of any prescription meds. you are on.. You should pick a Dr. to suit your needs and who delivers at a hospital that you approve of... I had a midwife they seem to cater more to the mother than Dr. do after all it is the mother who gives birth and they seem to have a better understanding than Dr. but it's all up to you and how you have imagined it to be... Good luck and enjoy this ride it's an amazing thing

Call the doctor on Monday and let them know that you need to begin scheduling prenatal appointments. They'll ask you when your last period started. Don't be surprised if the doctor won't see you until you are about 8 weeks along. Most offices trust the home pregnancy test, but some may send you for a blood test. Go to your local Walmart (or drug store, or grocery store) and buy some prenatal vitamins and start taking them. Don't forget to drink lots of water. Congratulations.
Edit: I see a lot of people recommending "What to Expect..." My doctor actually called it the worst pregnancy book with the best title. I suggest instead that you get "Your Pregnancy and Birth" published by the American Academy of Gynecologists and Obstetricians.

Mazoltov sweety! First of all, go get some over the counter pre-natal vitamins. Avoid things like tuna fish(it has mercury in it and causes babies to have autism), drugs(anything your doctor didn't say okay to) and alcohol. The headaches are normal for some women, so don't worry about that. You're going to pee a lot simply because the uterus is going to be pushing all your other organs(namely your bladder) around, so get used to the bathroom decore, either that or start remodleing it now! Don't forget to drink lots of orange juice. It's got folic acid(vitamin-C) and helps develop the baby's brain(proven fact too!). ANY OB/GYN worth their diploma should tell you all this stuff as well as exercise and that yes, sex is perfectly fine so long as it isn't rough and doesn't hurt or you're bleeding from it. You're going to start getting hungry and have some funny mood swings for a while(the whole nine months), so don't worry too much about that. Pretty soon you'll be looking to clean everything and have everything organized in the home, this is normal too. Don't worry about the moments of paranoia(the cats' going to hate the baby, won't he?) these are normal too. Just relax, get some good comfortable shoes(NO high heels please!), a couple of zipper-front sports bras and some nice looking "mommy-to-be" clothes along with some moderate exercise and enjoy yourselves! F.Y.I., avoid the "belly cast" thing, it's just freakish looking later on! P.S.: I know a really good Moil if you need one!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! This is such an exciting time!! With my first pregnancy I had to go out and buy a baby item! I think it was booties but can't remember for sure.
If you live in Australia, you are fine to take Panadol whilst pregnant as for other country's not sure. You definately can't take aspirins and other like medications.
Also if you are in Australia there is no rush to go to the Dr's except to positively confirm it. Your 1st hospital appoinmtn isn't until between 10-12 weeks.
As for all other information Google is fantastic if you want to save some money but if you want to be able to check everything at that exact minute no matter where you are-then go buy a book!
Best of luck with everything!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Start taking your prenatal vitamins right away and make an appt with your doc. Drink lots of fluids too..that could be why you're getting the headaches...you need a lot more now. Get plenty of rest and eat your fruits and vegetables!!! Good luck!
Oh! Also my doc always told me if I was on any meds and found out I was preg to not stop cold turkey but to contact them so they can "wean" you off of your meds so your body doesn't go into any type of withdrawls.

Ask a pharmacist what medication you can take safely, eat good food, lots of fresh friut and veg as well as fish, especially oily fish like Mackeral. Dark green veg is especially good for you! Let your doctor know as soon as you can and they will sort you out. Its a good idea to get a book, but remember everyone is unique so no book will describe exactly how you will feel all the time.
Cut out caffine, alcohol if you can and if you smoke you have the perfect incentive to stop. Your fiance too!
Congratulations and enjoy your pregnancy.

For your headaches, use tylenol and nothing but tylenol. And congrats on the baby. Monday morning call your family doctor or OB/GYN. Tell them you took a pregnancy test and it came out positive and that you need to come in for a check up. They will confirm the pregnancy and send you for blood work and other necessary testing. Also...please do invest in What to Expect When your Expecting. I have this book and its invaluable. Used it with both my pregnancies. Plus go to the website and sign up for daily newsletters via email. www.whattoexpect.com I love getting these in my email every day and look forward to reading them. Its good stuff. Congrats again.

okay make an appointment ASAP with an OB. They'll do an exam and have blood drawn.
Then they'll make you come back about every 4 weeks until closer to the end and then every 1 or 2 weeks.
Congratz!
I was the exact same way with my first one that I called my sis at 6am to ask her what I was supposed to do

You can call you Dr to confirm the pregnancy but you won't get an appointment until 10-12 weeks along and you'll get to hear the heart beat for the first time.
Good luck
