Yesterday my school got two bomb threats called in. Even though we went back to school, I don't think I'll every feel the same sort of safe that I used to feel. I'm afraid well actually have a bomb or someone will come in with a gun or something. Is their anyway I can feel a little safer?

Just be prepared for the worst....like where would you hide if someone did start shooting, or know the quickest escape out of the school. Unfortunately in this day in age any idiot can get their hands on a gun or make a homemade bomb. Sorry, and good luck.

Yes, just use the infamous mr_gees f***up logic system. It goes something like this.

There is one sure thing in life. Everybody dies. No exceptions to the rules. No, religion, sexual orientation or political affiliation can change this undeniable truth.

There are probably a million ways to die. Just to name a few. Being shot, stab, run over by a car, heart attack, diabetes, many form of cancers, bombs, freeze to death and of course plain old well, dying of old age. Your day will come just like mine will one day. You can't avoid it.

Ok, not convince, so what are you going to do about it? You can always build this metal box that is fire proof, water proof bullet proof etc etc. Then live your life inside it until you get old and die. Or so you think. What if one day while taking a shower you slip and you hit your head on the metal pipe. You brake your neck so you can't move yet you are still alive. Because you secluded yourself no one will come to help you. So, now not only will you die, you will know that you will die slowly. That is right, nobody will hear you scream. You will probably feel hungry but what are you going to do. You can't get up to eat. And what about the water. If the water is still running then your skin will get wet. Over time your skin will absorbe water and will start to peel off. That is you will become a floatie. Oh!!! and god forbid rats get into the house. Then you will know the meaning of true terror.

Ok, now that I scared off any happy thoughts you may had had a minute ago, let me leave you with a good message. Don't think too much about those things. The end is inevitable so why waste your time thinking about it. Just live your life hapylly and look forward to the many fun good things that life have to offer.

Also, like someone else mention above me. Just have a plan of action. There is a plan of action for fires and earthquake. Just learn and follow the plan of action for crazy people invading your school.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

When I was a kid growing up in the 60s and 70s in Calif., we would get about 4 of those a year. We would have to leave the classroom and go line up outside in a field until the janitor checked the rooms. This nonsense has been going on forever. It was usually some kid who ditched school and did it as a prank or someone who wanted to go home early this stuff is nothing new.

I'm not sure where you live, but bomb threats happen all the time. They are usually pranks by stupid students. Talk to your teachers and principal or headmaster about what students can do to make the school safer.

It was probably someone who just wanted to stir things up--like they used to pull the fire alarms.
Don't even worry about it.
