It certainly looks like he has the majority. Everyone who worships on Sunday pays homage to him by doing so, and honors his power.

No not all the world will follow the Pope. Why should they?
Catholic is not the One World Religion that will come in during the tribulation period. It will be more like Muslim/Islamic that will be known as that religion. The Antichrist will rise up out of the Islamic religion.
Why I believe this is because Ishaemal the son of Abraham and the hand maiden Haggar is who the Islamic/Muslim follow. They believe they are the heirs to the land of Israel. This is why the Islamic/Muslim nations what to wipe the Jewish people off the face of the planet.
Now, the next Pope very well could be the False Prophet, who will assist the Antichrist in making people believe the Antichrist is the true long awaited messiah.

The Push today is for Global everything.
The Pope is the one that can bring several "Religious Groups together,Religion is the glue that Holds Nations together.
I liked John Paul,at His Funeral ,there was 17 Religious Groups,
70 Heads of State. What other Religious Person could do that.?
My opinion Pope ? will assist the Europeon Union"Leader" in the soon to be Conformation of seven yr" Interium Peace Plan ," That will bring the P.L.O. --Israel and E. U. together. Jerusalem will be "Internationalized City" with P.L.O. Mayor and Israel Mayor With the "Church Oversight" .

Until the time of the great white throne judgement, I do not think that the whole world will follow any belief, or religion. If you want to know who to follow, follow what the gospell, and epistles say who to follow. and do not just follow the interpretations of man. With prayer, and a desire for understanding from God, read new testement scripture

Most will as it already does. It accepts the Pope's teachings over the bible and flocks after him wherever he goes. Soon there will be two great churches, the church led by Christ and the church led by the Pope. Read your bible and you will see it is true and direct from God.

Well, lil lady, it all depends on what exactly you're asking.
Will all the world follow the pope after he dies? Sure. We all die.
Will all the world follow whatever catholic "stuff" he pronounces as "the rule"? Uh, nope. Not even close.
Yaks(pbut).

If we're lucky, the world might follow Alexander Pope.
"A little learning is a dangerous thing; drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring: There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, and drinking largely sobers us again."
