First, this is the wrong category for your question.

Second, I have never seen a recorded incidence of an online petiton affecting change. There is too much room for error with automated submissions falsifying the petition results. Making a real petition, going out and getting real signatures sends a stronger message. Anyone and their brother can make an online petition in under 5 minutes and just sit back. A real petition requires work and effort, and that along with the volume of real signatures on real paper is what opens eyes.
