Okay first off read the rest before yelling "NO!"
So Satan is the ultimate deceiver? True.
Worshipping false idols is number one on God's naughty list? True.
So why would Satan become a false idol? Think about it, live the "perfect" life, and say God-like things, and perform miracles to get people to believe in "Jesus". Now he has all these people now "false-idol worshiping" therefore all the Christians will go to hell right?
So again before you blast me, feel free to show me evidence that this hypothetical scenario is so far off base that I'm an idiot.
But think about it logically, it makes sense, and it would be a great plan. And if your answer is "God wouldn't allow it" i have two words: Job, AIDS

"Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness.
Are you saying Satan had a split personality disorder?"
Good point, but it could be more trickery, I mean no one saw then together right? Satan's been called a lot of things, but stupid isn't usually one of them

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings

In the Gospels, there is a situation where the Pharisee's accuse Jesus of being Satan / Beelzebub and performing His miracles with that dark power. If you read these passages, you will find exactly why Jesus is not Satan.
And I do believe that God would not allow His own image to be tainted by a false idol. Take the Golden Calf with the Israelites in the desert for instance.

Satan knows the word as well as God. Satan isn't evil he is the promoter of evil. Satan has a different agenda using the same tactics and knowledge. one could easily be mislead by him. He as the world and everything in it to keep someone serving him. He may feel as if he has to prove something to The All-mighty. Maybe even contending. I can see where its possible for him to place a distorted image of something true in front of the truth. A person should really look carefully inside to find out who or what they are worshiping.

Point taken!!
However, let me just say Satan is very clever - the correct words to use are Satan is very cunning and deceptive, but he is not wise.
Jesus could never be Satan. That is extremely impossible. Yes, Satan can perform a lot of miracles - he can even raise the dead. The is one thing he cannot persistently do - he cannot encourage people to come to God, he cannot tell people to worship one God, he can never teach people about love, he can never tell people the truth. He can 'quote' the truth, but he can never be its originator. He cannot boldly claim that "I am the way, the truth and the light". He can merely say "It is written...."
What more is there to say?

I think u are confused there is always two sides of everything,Good and Bad.
God is either considered good or bad by every individual.I don't believe he is satan .Cause satan always gives you what you want and decieves you in the end with another of his methods,God doesn't gives you everything you want but what you need .
Human beings do wrong things they are punished for it that is why we are punished thing slike AIDS and HIV are just conseuqences of wrong doings.
Hope this makes sense.

Churchianity is a heathen religion. Jesus is indeed a false messiah. The true Messiah is named YAHOSHUA! Ex. 23:13 tells us not to use names of heathen mighty ones like Zeus or Iesus. Aids is a man made plague, and there is a cure for it. Just not a pharmacological one someone can make billions on, so no one is telling you.

God sent Jesus to help people get to be with Him. Without Jesus, we couldn't get to heaven. Without suffering, there wouldn't be blessing. Without sin, there can't be perfection(which is ONLY God)No one is perfect, but Jesus. Christians know that, but we still try not to sin. Have you even read a Bible?I think you should.
