take every day as it comes, and don't wish that they will hurry and grow up. the baby stage can be a trying time, but one day they will be grown and you will look back and wish it had lasted longer.

You really can't make it last, you just have to enjoy each stage along the way, for if you are trying to make one stage last you miss the stage that they are in.

You can remember them being in that baby stage or I call it that
Stumbler Stage when I was needed and they were so cute and
cuddly and I knew they were clean, fed and warm and safe And
where they were!
That stage doesn't really ever go away for a mother I know and
fathers are usually the same as they want to be so strong but let something happen to that child and watch that father as well.
When they are babies we help them up and dust them off and help them to try again. When they become Adults, when they need us we help them up and dust them off and try and show them how again and again! As for their well being and having their needs met still, as long as mine are trying, I will help them to have whatsoever they need in their own home, You can keep the memories and understand if they need you at all they are your Baby all over again and they need you in more than one way now,
They need you to be Very Strong when they have come to try and
tell you something that might cause your demise and it too hurts them, they need you to hold them as well and Not fall as they do
not see themselves ever worthy enough to pick you up and dust
you off and help you over and over again, This is what makes them Your Baby as soon enough you will be theirs!

I wish I knew! My baby was born yesterday (or at least it seems) and I woke up today and she is three and half. It went by that fast!

Hug 'em, hold 'em, and love em. It's all you can do. And smile! When you are dead & gone, your little one will always have those memories.

Dang....now I am cryin...

Take lots of videos and pictures, but sooner or later they grow up.
