you don't. you get a boyfriend your own age. i have serious doubts about 40 yr old men who run after teens.

how old are you? if you are over 18, then age really doesn't make a differnece in my opinion, my husband is 15 years older than me. the issue is how to tell him..does he feel the same, and is he married? you have to look at the whole picture, if things are cool between you two already, just let him know that, you would like to go a little further with him, and that you are starting to have feelings for him, try to avoid the love word unless he brings it up for now. good luck

There are many questions to be answered first, here. It is okay to be in love with an older man, but often we mistake 'love' with infatuation. How long have you known him? How long have you 2 been seeing each other? Do you know how he feels? Do jump into things to fast, life is short, don't be so ready to sell it away. Take sometime to retrospect, amke sure that he is exactly what you want...and that this isn't just that whole 'new love' feeling.

Married couples aren't commonly the same age.
My parents are YEARS apart.
All of my friends parents are years apart.
But generally you don't want someone that is 9 years older than you.
An acceptable range is 3-6

You sound WAY too young to be in love with someone as old as your dad. How do you know it's love and not infatuation? I'd say forget him and find someone your own age, you'll have more in common.

Well first of all depends on your age if your 18 or youngr then u can forget it or wait untill your older but if your older then be flirty with him show what u got......and if he cant tell then maybe u should tell stright up

if you believe that he loves you then tell him how you feel some ppl more so lately date other people that are older and younger as long as you know that this is what you want them go for it and be careful just in case.

It depends on YOUR age, if your under 18 then it's illegal to do anything with him anyway unless you want to get him arrested. If your over 18 then ask him his feelings for you before you go gushing.
