Is the United States in Bible prophecy? If so, where?

Sure, everytime you see the word Jerusalem in the Bible, there USA right there in the middle (the middle three letters)! Just joking.

Seriously, that a very good question, and I've never found a very good answer. Some sayit is possible in the Book of Revelation 12:14 when the woman is given the two wings of a great eagle, the woman represents Israel and that the great eagle is the USA (our symbol).

I don't see the United States in Bible prophecy at all. And it is kind of scary, don't you think? The only conclusion I come up with is that the United States, as mighty and majestic as it is, will soon collapse in upon itself and become of no worth at all. That is my opinion. Kind of like the fall of the Roman Empire, but I think the fall of the United States will be far greater.

This is very hard to explain. Daily Bible Study (www.keyway.ca) is a site I like to use, it offers very interesting points to study. It is non denominational and I feel the author offers true and accurate studies. I have researched him a little bit and I feel that like myself he would say, believe nothing until you find your own Truth. I have not yet spent time studying the details of end time prophecy, just a general over view. It is God's people against the world, there is no safe country and this I believe with all my heart. The protection of the Holy Spirit, given to us from God through Jesus is what we must rely on now.

The Bible does not mention the United States. Of course, it's possible to cherry-pick anything you want out of the Bible, or the Koran, or Nostradamus, or today's Horoscope, &etc.
