I tried to file my federal taxes online today and everything was going good until near the end when i tried to submit some final info. Then this screen showing Internet Explorer said I can't go further. It recommended trying to refresh the screen or adjusting the security settings on my browser. I tried both and did not work. The site I used was extaxreturn.com
Should I just mail my returns or is there another site without these problems?

We used H & R Block online and had no problems at all. If you try another site and it does the same thing then you know it must have something to do with your security settings on your computer. I tried to go from the IRS Free File page straight to H & R Block by clicking on their link, and the IRS website said something about not being able to because of "a firewall or other internet security software which is configured too restrictively to allow the irs.gov to pass you on to the website URL you were following....". So, what I ended up doing was just going straight to H & R Block without going through the IRS Free File site and it worked perfectly, and even at the end of the return it said that we can file for free---based on our info----so we did not have to go through the IRS site afterall.

Anyway, I would just try another site and you might want to make sure that the one you used is a legitimate one too. Some sites do not have high enough security settings and maybe a red flag went up when you tried to submit the info to the IRS.
