I am a convert and I use to think that how they pushed paying tithing was just a way for the church to take away from the poor but now I see how much it blesses you both spiritually and financially. I have always had more money after I paid tithing that I had before. One of the other things I did not believe in was how the members were to obey the word of wisdom. This I also see now as a way the lord blesses us. Drinking smoking and all the other things are bad for the body and the Lord holds our body's as a temple so we should take care of the most important thing God has gave us, our body.

The Mormons believe in "Baptism by proxy" for one.
Someone can go forward in thier services and claim salvation for a person who has never even heard that the Bible exists.
The Book of Mormon's source is contested. The original is supposed to have been made of pure gold. It is SUPPOSED to be still in existance, in the Temple at Salt Lake City. That item is NEVER allowed to be viewed or photographed. All other Christian based denominations (which the Mormans claim to be...) provide any material evidence that they can upon request. Mormons hide their item one which might best support thier claims. (assuming it does, or ever did, exist)
They have other practices which are just plain strange.. by the standards of almost all other branches of Christianity.
The "Mormon" practice of ploygamy is a mixed issue. There's stories that the reason they allowed it was the deaths of a lot of men durring the trip to Utah. The Widows were simply assigned out to the living men "Here you go, you take Zeke's widow, you have another wife to care for and feed now".
Note that the only place the Bible says for anyone to not practice polygamy is in the passage about the qualifications for ELDER. To be "A husband of one wife." That requirement is found nowhere else...
*****************
As for the Book of Moromon's existing violting Revelation's closing passages...
Other portions of the New Testament were written AFTER Revelation....
That argument falls apart upon any scrutiny at all. Revelation originally was its own separate "book" (scroll) It wasn't until appx 400 AD that the assorted parts of the New and Old testaments were assembled in one volume. over 300 years AFTER Revelation was written.
If you want to use the final part of Revelation to refute the possibility of the Book Of Morman being valid, you have to deny all parts of the Bible that were written by Luke....

Other Christians disapprove of Mormons because they have created their own Holy Book in additional to the Bible. That new book, The Book of Mormon, strays from the teachings in the Bible. Mormons think that's a good thing. Non-Mormons think that's a bad thing.

1. That God has a body,and is a polygamist.
2. That Joseph Smith thought he was as good as Jesus.
3. They use what their prophets say as a road map for their lives not the Bible.
4. That is seems like they are all ways putting something between themselves and Jesus. Whether it be the priesthood, the prophet, etc.
5. That they are taught not to want a relationship with Jesus.
I could go on, but you get my point. There are many problems with the LDS doctrine.

The Mormon Church was formed by Joseph Smith in 1830 who claimed to have seen vision of Jesus and Mary. The whole religion is based on what one man claimed to have seen. Mormons believe that you can earn your way to heaven Christians believe that through repentance and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we enter into Heaven. They also believe in polygamy

They are a cult. They have added on to the REAL word of God, which the Bible forbids. Read into the history of Mormonism & you'll see that it's foundations are very unbiblical. They also believe in getting to Heaven by works, not faith in Jesus Christ.

Nobody knows. We know what the Baptists do, the things they do that are disapproved of; but we haven't been able to penetrate the Mormon zone, to discover the bad things they do, though it is assumed there are bad things there.
We just have to keep looking, eventually we will find out what they do that we disapprove of.

They chose to believe in the Smith version of the acquisition of the Book of Mormon. Why would this so-called Book take till the 1800's to arrive on Earth to spread its' gospel? Why is it, that these holy panels from which was derived the Book of Mormon, would so conveniently have to have been returned to the heavens from whence they came, after their discovery, so conveniently and easily resting, from under some rocky place? Why, from the time of original communication from said spirit with Smith, would Smith so conveniently have given himself this perfect amount of time, to so pen said holy scriptures ? If this isn't the biggest, grandest example of man manipulating the word of God to form his own ideology that I've ever seen, I don't know what could rival this story of the holy connecting with the human! Just the whole recounting of this formation of the Book of Mormon is so ridiculous and people follow like sheep some fabricated invention of one very clever man! God is eternal. God always was and always will be. The Book of Mormon would have been in existence from the beginning of time. This is obvious human invention. God need not send down pop-ups to be inserted in one's faith! I just shake my head! And people believe this? Yes, and the Tooth Fairy is real too, as is Santa Claus! Man gets A++++ for ingenious ideas, but as far as they being religious truths, I highly doubt it! There is a thread of eternity that runs throughout all of creation, and The Book of Mormon is not one of them!!! Smith is a grand magician, but nothing more!

The ONLY thing I can tell you that has 100% surety is this:
"The Book of MORMON" is a DIRECT VIOLATION of the final words in the final book of the BIBLE: REVELATION 22:16-21
Rev 22:16 " I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Rev 22:18 ¶ For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book."
Rev 22:20 ¶ He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Rev 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.
SO........we know from this that any writing, any "found document"....anything! IS NOT INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, and IS NOT a part of the LORD's WILL.
JESUS MAKES IT PRETTY CLEAR......even the whole story of Mormon, his son, the translating....all of it....sounds bogus. THIS "cult" is not CHRISTIAN> and is wrong from the get-go.
OBEY GOD< TRUST GOD AND NOT MAN.

They have a holy book, the Book of Mormon in addition to the bible. If there is a discrepancy between these two books they will take the Book of Mormon over the bible
