in about a couple of seconds, But you know honey, When my mother died, We all knew and was told by the doctor that, when her toes became purple, and very cold, Her lower body is already dead, And its a true fact that , once you see that sign, in a few seconds or so later, That person will turn ice cold

why are you asking such a morbid quest/however rigor mortis can set in 2/3/4/ hours depending what the environment is where the body is laid out and thin blood will cool quicker than thick

the body looses heat right away, you can feel the difference in less than a hour, to get completely to room temperature takes a while, as is hours..12 to 24
