It happened years before he dated her.
He doesn't have an std.
He has stayed away from things like that for years and has changed a lot since then.

I don't know man.

That's a pretty big deal.

You don't need an STD to realize that he was desperate enough to even go see a prostitute...

My ex was in the military and yes he did use their services. That was before we were married,I know for a fact that men in the military get very lonely(horny). It didn't matter to me because that was before we were married. All the time we were together he never gave me an STD,but I divorced him because he got heavily into drugs&drinking. Then at the end,he started having affairs left and right. He then went to prison for involuntary manslaughter,he killed someone while driving under the influence. After that it was in and out of prison, that's when he was diagnosed Bipolar.I left him and I am living a good life now.Sorry,I got carried away I'm always going off into a tangent. If he changed then there shouldn't be a problem.

Even though it happened in the past, you have to understand that it's a trust issue. What's to say that you won't do it again? Though you didn't cheat on her with a prostitute, that thought will haunt her. I'd say somethings are better kept to yourself. If it happened way before her, and you have no STD's, why would you even tell her? I would probably break it off with a guy if he told me that after we started dating... again it's a trust issue.

To hear that, would probably give the girl a headspin* She will wonder WHY the guy needed to be with a prostitute, and would wonder if STD was involved even tho he told her he doesn't have any.
Some girls may say that was your past it's not who you are today and accept it. It really depends on the girl*

As long as everything is "clean" no std's and it happened a long time ago and he's not, or in the future will not visit a prostitute again then probably no.

No, I wouldn't based on those facts. I would look at it more as an addiction issue. An alcoholic, former drug user, former gambing addict, etc. would all be seen the same way. However, my concern would be in a relapse and I would probably start looking for signs of that.

I wouldn't b/c I see it as everyone has a past and we cann't let it control us now. I would have the most respect for him for telling me but what he did and who he is now are probably two totally different people. And you said he has stayed away from things like that for years then that is a chapter in his life he is past.

It depends on the person, and if he truly sees what he did as a mistake. In this case, it sounds like the person has changed for the better. I would stay.

True love means accepting a person's past as well as their present, and not expecting miracles of their future. I would be upset and I would ask a whole lot of questions, but ultimately I would accept the person I was with as the person he is and his past as his past, not a shadow on his present.

I would never admit to a girl that I did. That would be risking your relationship with her. I would understand if she was pissed about it. I would'nt like a woman to tell me years into a relationship that she was a prostitute when she was younger so sometimes its far better to keep your gob shut about your past..
