When it comes to answering people, alot of them bait us out only to attack and ridicule. So, shall we collectively refuse to any longer "cast our pearls" to the swine?

Yes, I agree. A lot of posts I don't answer because I can tell it is not an honest question.

This has been going on since the birth of Christianity. The scribes and pharisees did the same to Jesus. Have you ever heard that the solution for nervousness when addressing a crowd is to envision them in their underwear? Well, when I am confronted with someone having a superior ego and half a mind, I automatically see them as the scribes and pharisees that taunted Jesus in an attempt to trip him up while being so far beneath him that he could have squashed them like a bug at any time. Casting pearls before swine? Christians do it all the time. If there's one pearl to be found amongst the swine, then, it's worth it.

Well now I am a Chirstian if they ask it I will answer it, and if they can't handle the answer not my problem.
When one ask a question you have to be willing to here the answer even when it is not the answer that you were looking for.
That is how we learn everyone is different some believe in God and some don't.
And the ones who not believe in God well you just have to pray for them and go on, because more than likely you are not going to change their minds only the Holy spirit can do that.

I would only consider not answering if I was sure someone was just trying to bait us. But I do think there should always be dialogue with those who ae intereted in learning. Sometimes people learn grat things through debate.

Just refuse to answer obvious questions designed to attack and ridicule. If no one answers them, they will eventually quit.

your "pearls" taste foul to me.

Of course not. Spreading the good news of Jesus Christ is the great charter before us. Jesus said that we would be ridiculed. Jesus said that we would be laughed at. Jesus said that we would be hated for His name's sake. That does not change our duty to spread the word of salvation through Jesus Christ. Read the book of 1 Timothy. It is a very good book which deals with the way in which we are to deal with the subject of witnessing. They are heathens, lovers of themselves more than lovers of God, just as the Word says, and we are to try to teach them, or tell them in humility about the love of Christ, and the free gift of salvation, that their blood is not on our hands. If they scoff, laugh, and curse us for this, then they are rejecting the message of Jesus, and their blood is on their own hands. But it is VERY important that we be kind and lovingly tell them in humility. They will not respond to anger, because that is not of God. Tell them kindly. Tell them lovingly. Tell them in humility. Then your conscience is clear, and they are left with the Spirit of God convicting them. They may mock you, but that is unimportant. God will reward you openly.
