I really like a guy who i know likes me, he told my friend he hasn't asked me out because he doesn't want to be rejected. I really want him to ask me out, but i don't dare ask him out. We are with each other a lot. How can i make it obvious i want him to ask me out? Preferably nothing sexual. Serious answers only please. X x

Get close to him, flirt with him. Why can't you ask him out if you know that he is going to say yes???

If you know he likes you then it's probably best to ask him yourself. I know it's hard, I would find it difficult, but you know he likes you...There is still a risk you could be rejected, but it sounds unlikely if he was being honest with your friend. If you really like him then it's a very small risk that's worth taking. Try to be brave- you will be proud of yourself when he says yes- I'm sure he will. Tell him that there is a film at the local cinema that you would like to see but do not want to go alone; ask him if he will accompany you. The rest should tick over from there.

Compliments will get you far, my friend. If he does something stupid but cute just be like "you're so funny..." and stuff. Kiss him on the cheek, sit closer to him, rest your head on his shoulder, be there if he needs to talk. Basically be this great friend to him but with a little extra that he knows you wouldn't be like with someone you don't really care about. You can always tell him, but don't rush things.
