They came to Bethany. There was one woman there whose brother had died. She came and prostrated herself before Jesus and spoke to him. "Son of David, pity me!" But the disciples rebuked her. Jesus was angry and went with her into the garden where the tomb was. Immediately a great cry was heard from the tomb. And going up to it, Jesus rolled the stone away from the door of the tomb, and immediately went in where the young man was. Stretching out his hand, he lifted him up, taking hold his hand. And the youth, looking intently at him, loved him and started begging him to let him remain with him. And going out of the tomb, they went into the house of the youth, for he was rich. And after six days Jesus gave him an order and, at evening, the young man came to him wearing nothing but a linen cloth. And he stayed with him for the night, because Jesus taught him the mystery of the Kingdom of God. And then when he left he went back to the other side of the Jordan.--Mark 10

Your question is the perfect example how people misinterpret and manipulate the word of God. You may think what you will a/b the scripture, but you tell me this. Why would it say in the bible it is an abomination for 2 men to be together, and then later on say or display the potential for Jesus THE PERFECT SON OF GOD to be gay...that one will make you scratch your head a little. But we are all entitled to our own opinions. So God bless! Oh and just b/c someone doesn't completely agree w/ that lifestyle does not mean they are anti-gay, just means we don't agree. I wanted to clarify that b/c I am not anti gay. Have a great day!!

God inspired the people who consolidated to make the Bible which texts would be included and excluded. We are told near the very end of Revelation that we should not add to or take away any words from the complete Bible.

Secondly.. if you read the article via your URL; the text you reference is said to be inserted between Mark 10:34 and 35 - it absolutely makes no sense and does not flow with the written word of God. I recommend focusing your time studying and learning the Word of God and not excluded texts - no good can come from those.

There is no correct answer to this question. Assuming the gay savior introduced him/herself as such before saving someone, if one were to say "Yes, I would claim he was straight." then there is the obvious anti-gay insinuation and if someone were to say "No, I'd point out he was gay." then there is the element of bringing up the irrelevance of sexual orientation in this scenario. The answers to this question have the same implications as the question, "Do you feel guilty when you hide behind the couch and masturbate?" Both yes and no answers carry with them the admittance to the argument you are trying to raise.

Anti-gay christians, if a gay man died to save you, would you disrespect him by claiming he was straight?

Well first off, he disrespected himself by doing that in the first place. Second off, it doesn't matter haw many good things he does in his life, as a christian, I KNOW FOR FACT, that he will go to hell when he dies because of being presently QUEER. Third off there are no such thing as PRO-GAY christians otherwise they're not christians, oh and Gay means happy, not HOMO.

Forth off, what in the heck does that paragraph you just said have anything to do with your question? What, your saying Jesus is queer, hahahahahaha "and Jesus loved him", HELLO jesus loves everyone!

What's your point here?

There are many gnostic writings that people would like to think tell us about Jesus...but the truth is that during the early years of Christianity...many of these writings were made up to cause confusion for people seeking Christ.

So...I'm guessing your quote is from one of those.

But to answer the original question...if a gay man died saving my life...I think his sacrifice would be sufficient to save him. Jesus says it's the greatest love of all to lay down your life for another.

I would not claim he was straight...but I would assure all that he was now saved.

HE warned us of this.

Those who KNOW the LORD JESUS CHRIST; by faith and also by the indwelling Holy Spirit, know that you are trying to make a claim that makes absolutely no sense. This "reference" you have put forth says nothing about JESUS "even possibly being gay". NO bible believing Christian believes such blashemy; and if you do lead others astray by twisting the scriptures- you will be held accountable by GOD at the Judgment Seat.

Dude, you have a perverted version of the bible and cannot understand the things of God with such perversion.
If a gay man died to save me, I would be grateful. I wouldn't disrespect his sexual life, just be surprised that he chose to do that. That's a big "if"

it quite is an fairly functional request...yet i think of you will locate that it will not ensue. it quite is in the character of persons to stand up for issues they suspect in and because homosexuality is one in each and every of those arguable element in our society, people will continuously be accepting of it or hateful. it quite is actual that God condemns many stuff in the Bible and it quite is complicated to me why people place such an emphasis on homosexuality. it quite is not an superior than the different sin. additionally, some gay Christians do think of that eye-catching in gay acts is incorrect. there are various own thoughts that coach that. yet, definite, I agree that the universal public does not think of it quite is incorrect. that doesn't, regardless of the undeniable fact that, replace what the Bible says. the reality that i think of eye-catching in gay acts is incorrect does not have something to do with gay people, and that i don't have something against them. I do understand, although, the place it is coming from by using fact there are a solid sort of people who think of they could hate gay people by using fact God calls homosexuality a sin. I additionally understand particularly, the way it feels to be hated by using fact, enable's settle for it, Christians are not precisely honestly everyone's fashionable people. i understand the way it feels to be hated so I quite do my perfect to not hate others.

This is not an intelligent question. It is not possible to respect a so called gay person, so it would not be possible to disrespect that which cannot be respected. Kind of like a catch 22.
