After about 6-8 weeks you could give them wet food, and after about a month later, start mixing a little bit of dry cat food in, a little more each day, and gradually just feed it dry food, and have the canned food as a treat every couple weeks.

about 6 weeks they can start nibbling at soft foods.
About 8 weeks they can be weened.
Purina kitten chow and Purina dried kitten formula are good. I bottle fed a pair of kittens from 3 weeks old.
When weaning mix the kitten formula up with warm water and use that to get the kitten chow mushy. Slowly use less formula.
Kitten chow for at least 8 months. then start mixing in adult food (I went to Meow Mix)
Started out both my cats would fit in a coffee cup at the same time
Now, 4 yrs later, one cat should weigh 25 lbs, but he's a bit fat at 30 lbs, the other is 18 lbs and she's just a little chunky. (should weigh 15 really)
Huge cats.... the male's dumb as a rock.

Between 6 to 8 weeks of age. Start them off with can food. Give them a little time to get used to that before you introduce kibbles (crunchies or dry food) to them. When you do start to give them kibbles, buy the kitten ones as they are much smaller and made especially for kittens. Adult kibbles are way too big for their little mouths and teeth.

begin about 5 or 6 weeks with kitten food with kitten milk from the pet store. when they are about 8 months ween them to cat food. if the mother is not available ask the vet what kind of formula to use.

After six weeks of age you can start to feed kittens soft food, not hard food, and you should also take them to the vet at around that age.

around 6-8 weeks give them some kitten chow that has been soaked in kitten formula or water...NEVER REGULAR MILK! that is bad for cats and there digestive tract. Let it sit out an hour. the milk will entice them to try.

Put some food up to their noses and see how it goes. And if wanting them to eat hard food now, put some hot water in with it and mush it up so they can get used to the taste. Or, feed them soft kitten food with crunchies in it.
Does this help?
