Its all about how you chose to see it.
Its all a blessing. We just fool ourselves into thinking that some of it is better than the rest.

Faithfulness
Their needs
Also - depends on what your idea of a "blessing" is... some people think having a lot of money is a blessing.
I believe having a loving family, a home to live in, belonging to the Lord' church, enough money to pay my bills and still have a little left over, having an eternal marriage...those are all blessings to me. I feel richly blessed.
There is a hymn called 'Count Your Blessings'
1. When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings; name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
[Chorus]
Count your blessings;
Name them one by one.
Count your blessings;
See what God hath done.
Count your blessings;
Name them one by one.
Count your many blessings;
See what God hath done.
2. Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings; ev’ry doubt will fly,
And you will be singing as the days go by.
3. When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you his wealth untold.
Count your many blessings; money cannot buy
Your reward in heaven nor your home on high.
4. So amid the conflict, whether great or small,
Do not be discouraged; God is over all.
Count your many blessings; angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

I agree with Pangel, blessed is an everchanging theme, older times having lots of kids and cattle and you were blessed, now blessed is what you think it ot be, it could be enough to pay your bills and go out out to eat once, a new car, or another breath of life/living for another day. GOD blesses us all, how we take it is whatyou are meaning more than if one is blessed over another. That is our view and most times very selfish to just look at others to decide what you have as blessed or not.

It just seems like it. When I first came to the Lord everything was going wrong in my life. That was Him calling me. Then when I answered the call, now I am so blessed. So sometimes you may not feel blessed at one time in your life but later you do. That's just how it works. The hard times are good for us, too. Even though we don't like them they build patience, strength and appreciation for the good times. Believe in Jesus and endure and you will be blessed.

Sovereignty is the right of God to do as He wishes (Psalm 50:1; Isaiah 40:15; 1 Tim. 6:15) with His creation. This implies that there is no external influence upon Him and that He also has the ability to exercise His power and control according to His will.

I don't think this is something that God wants you to question of Him. We learn in the Bible to be happy with our "lot" in life; even if we don't have a "lot" to be happy with. It also runs very close to the Commandments that we should not covet other people's property.
I was at the office the other day and talking to a colleague that I'm just getting to know. We were talking about bills, debts, mortgages etc and how long we pay for things in our lifetime. I learned that she was debt free and her mortgage free and clear; she's maybe 10 yrs (not even) older than me. I was impressed and a bit envious; when I asked her how she did it. I learned when her mother died she received a substantial inheritance. Fortunately, I have debt but still have my mother alive - ya get it?
Good luck

He blesses equally.
Some take only a portion of the blessings.

The Bible is filled with answers.
I suggest you get a Concordance and start looking up the word "Blessed", and see who the Bible declares to be blessed and why.

Some people work to achieve more, and some people work less and achieve less. It has alot to do with what we are putting forward, are we willing to go the extra mile. Jesus made us all equals in GOD'S eyes, so the rest is up to us.
