Does anyone know how to say light in Greek?

το φως(to fos)-the light
ελαφρύς(elafrís)(m.)/ελαφριά(elafriá)(f.)/ελαφρύ(elafrí)(n.)-light(like coke light...XD)

Phos is as close as I can come without Greek characters. You can spot it in such English words as "photography," "photon" and "photosynthesis."

The light is "το φως" (toh fohs -neutral gender)
Light is ελαφρύς/ελαφριά/ελαφρύ (ehluhFRISS, ehluhfreUH, ehluhFRI -masculine/feminine/gender).

phos ( in Latin characters), if you mean daylight
elafris (in Latin characters), if you mean not heavy
