I was a sex addict at one time and went to two escorts and one prostitute. I do not have any std's. I also used to visit strip clubs a lot. This ended several years ago. Should I ever tell a girl I am with that I did any of that?

it kind of depends on the girl. i don't know how she might take it. I've been debating the same thing. If i'm gonna marry a girl, i think she ought to know, but other than that I think it should remain a secret. girls could get really skeeved out by the thought of her man with a call girl.

What matters is that your not chetaing or going to clubs behind your girlfriend/wife's back and that your not knowingly giving her an std. Which, apparently, your not, so, theres no need to tell. These are personal choices youve made in your life. They may be bigger things but its still no different then saying, "I used to work at Taco Bell". If a future girl asks, itd be best to be honest. Because then, it would become a lying issue, or at the least say you wish not to discuss it, but you dont do these things, and havent for several years. Its not a part of your lifestyle anymore. And if it becomes part of you again, then be sure to include your patner, no sneaking around.

Yes and no. The yes part is that you shouldn't keep secrets from your wife or lie if she asks you. If that fact ever does come out, it would be better if your wife knew you were honest than to have the strain on the relationship because you lied and went to a prostitute. The no part is that the person you're in a relationship/marriage with might want to leave you.

Everyone's heart is a deep ocean of secrets. Enjoy the big blow she gave you with her luscious soup cooler lips, or the fact that she will probably be the only woman that let's you go up her sh*tpipe. Keep it to yourself and enjoy the memories, because when you get married, your wife stops giving it to you after about 2 years. Then, you'll have sex once a week, and eventually once a month. yes. when you feel close enough to her, tell her. just tell her though that that was in your Past. she should be able to accept it if she loves you. that is not a big deal since it has ended.. but it's something to tell even though you don't have STD's. and especially considering you kindof sound like it makes you feel somewhat guilty.. if it causes you to question whether you should or not. if you love her you should be able to share everything with her. she should understand that's in your past and that you are telling her because you feel she should know All of you.. even though she is your present! good luck!

Why not? It's just part of your past. If she cares to know about your past then don't be afraid of telling her. Everyone's got some skeletons that they'd rather not share. However, just be open and honest with her. If she's an understanding partner and meant for you, then she won't take it so badly.

I would hope that you would be honest about your past when asked about it. If you choose not to reveal this information, consider how your partner will feel if she ever finds out from another source. She will feel betrayed because you lied to her. It could break up your relationship. If you reveal it, you will never have to worry about her finding out.
