Laxative? Try drinking a LOT of water, and munching granola. I know this sounds like something any bloke would tell you, but its tried and true.
Cabbage and broccoli will bloat you, and carrots will help with sore eyes. Yogurt is super good for digestion.

If you don't like to drink the fiber substitute they now offer it in a pill form that you take with a full glass of water. Also cutting down on those greasy foods that we all love to eat at some time or another will help. Try keeping fresh fruit around it will help curb your desire for sweets and give you additional vitamins. If you like fresh vegetables by all means clean them and have on hand for quick snack. make a yogurt dip for them instead of using sour cream.Cheese doesn't bind you unless your only eating cheese! Make sure to drink and I mean you need water along with a soda, you don't have to torture yourself. Just change your habits a little at a time. Cereal is a source of fiber, also toast and breakfast is important A high fiber low-fat diet sounds like something you are looking for. You can still enjoy sweets but moderation is key! If you like to bake try substituting applesauce for oil in your cakes, brownies and other desserts. you won't take off large amounts at once but you will start to notice your clothes fitting differently. Try to excercise also I'm not telling you to go out and run a marathon but take a walk. use the stairs instead of the elevator start by doing it once a week and increase as you feel is best for you. Afterall you know your body better than anyone else. you know what you eat that binds you up so stop, and good luck!!

Metamucil makes wafers that you can eat, or at least they used to. ALso, fresh fruits and veggies are loaded with fiber. The water content can make you feel full without lots of calories, but can be pretty sweet too, like melons.

Gee, kccf, if you had told us what you have at home, what you have to work with, it might have been easier to give you some advice, but you failed to do that and therefore, I'm afraid I can't help you.
