I've meet a great guy at work and for a month we've been having lunch. We've only gone out once to dinner and finally for V-Day I got a kiss. We still haven't gone outside of work because we have busy lives. We both just like to chill at home but we're not big on going out. So what do we do for a date? I don't want to go out to resturants I'm tired of food and movies aren't that great. I'm worried that if I suggest his place he might be thinking I want to jump his bones (which i do just not right away). So the big question is what are two home bodies suppose to do for dates till they're ready?? Can you really be at home for a hours and not have sex? Lots of question hoping for some answers.

Well unless you go out somewhere, then you'll have to stay at home. Rent a movie and order some pizza, or make dinner for each other; it takes some time in the kitchen to prepare a nice feast. Or you guys can go for a nice long drive somewhere, no destination needed really.

And yeah, I know what you mean about staying at home for hours and not having sex haha. It's hard, but aslong as you can keep a conversation rolling and each other laughing, then sex will come later.

The secret is to have some self control. If a guy looks at you for a relationship, he may not want to have sex immediately either. Most likely he will though if you are throwing yourself at him. Make him work for it, he will look at you more long term if you do.

Otherwise go out, get out of the house. Go to a show, comedy club, sports game, meet at a park or go for a walk. There is a lot more than just dinner, use your imagination. Being a guy and always having to make the plans is stressful. If you enjoy each others company it doesn;t matter what you are doing.

some great ideas are going bowling, mini golfing, mall, museums, concerts (both rock/modern music and classical), etc.

since i live in D.C. i often go on dates to museums...and i am really into music so concerts are always great! there are tons of free things to do, you just have to look around...newspapers are often helpful!

and YES, you can be in a house with your date for hours upon hours without having sex. i have been going out with my boyfriend for two years are we are both still virgins. there is no need to be sexual to have fun, because their are tons of other things you can do while having a date at home (have dinner, watch movie, cook together, play board games and video games, etc.)

just because you go on a date with someone does NOT mean you have to get really close, if you know what i mean. if your date pressures you and doesn't respect your ideals on sex then he/she is not the right one for you! also, not all people want to get close on their first few dates, so don't worry...things might be awkward at first, but everything will work out because their is an endless list of things you can do with a date that doesn't require getting really personal.

First, you should go mini-golfing. You don't need much skill, you have fun and you can have physical play with your friend in a flirty, non sexual way on the mini golf course.
Then, you should try paint balling, where you shoot each other with paint ball guns. Its fun, physical and can be playfully flirtacious if you know how. Any physical activities for two are good ice breakers before you start having sex.

I'm no dater myself, but if I engage in social contacts, I do it at a local pub, called "De Kameleon". It's nothing big, nothing fancy, just a small and cosy place.
