weight loss is all about calories in and calories out. use up more calories than you take in and i guarantee you will loss weight. up hills = greater calories used, down hill = less calories used. sort yourself out a plan that increases the amount of riding you do if you want to reduce your weight.

30 minutes 3-4 days a week of any type of exercise is not going to be enough for noticable weight loss. You need a few hours of exercise a day 5-6 days a week.
