This happened to someone I know. He had e-filed and was rejected. He was given a reference number and a phone number to call to get an explanation for the rejection. If you know you have been rejected then you have a number to call and get the reason for the rejection. Good luck.

If you tried to e-file and the return was rejected by the IRS, the rejection notice will tell you why it was rejected. Since you didn't say what that was, there's no way to advise you how to correct the problem.

you may have answered something incorrectly. such as can someone else claim you? maybe you answered no but the other person claimed you already ..... Yes, you can resubmit.......it is better to find out why your forms were denied but it can also be an error with IRS as well
