me and my bf have been going out for 6 months now and we still havent kissed....sometimes i wonder if he even wants to or is he just shy? why is he so insecure around me? does it mean he doesnt really like me? and also is it ok for the girl to make the first move on the first kiss?

Well, my boyfriend's shy, but I'm even more shy. It really helps to talk about it, 'cause that's what we did and we're fine now.
Although the girl can make the first move, it's generally better for the guy to do it, in my opinion. You don't want to come off as too desperate.
Besides, the waiting might be worth it.

It IS OK to make the first move. Dont be offended if he's shy around you. I know that sometimes they are shy because they like you so much that they don't want to make a fool of themselves around you. Maybe he's never kissed someone before and you would be the first one. A first kiss is a scary thought, and he might not know how to do it..so he's kind of avoiding it as much as possible. Maybe he's scared that you'll think hes wierd or immature if you find out that he doesnt know how to kiss, or that he'll embarress himself. Just try and make the first move..and if he gets nervous just calmy tell him "its ok Ill show you how." Then you guys can have "practice" sessions ALOT. lol.

He's probably shy and maybe a little scared to kiss you, it doesn't mean he doesn't like you though cuz 6 months is a purty long time so I'm sure he has feelings for you. You could try asking him about it and try to make him feel comfortable so that he doesn't get nervous...or better yet, you kiss him :) Yes, it's ok for the girl to make the first move on the first kiss.

Of course it is ok for the girl to make the first move- sometimes it has to be done! If you've been dating for 6 months it's odvious he likes you. He's probably just too shy. So wait for the perfect moment and go for it. He's probably insecure because he's not sure if you really like him- so go for it!

Maybe he just isn't sure. It is okay for the girl to make the first move. Make some subtle hints. Touch cheek to cheek when you hug, or bring face close in to his...or if anything you can ask why. If he is your boyfriend, I'm sure he won't mind talking to you about it. Good luck.

Of course it's okay for the girl to make the first move! You should talk to him, and ask him if he's comfortable with maybe starting to kiss you. Or, you could just make the first move when you guys are hanging out with each other.

Please use your brains ...& be patient ....I no it is too hard.... but why is this guy even not kissed you for all these 6 months/// So strange to hear... May be he love you really but shy... ( age?) .. Not have much previous experience... May be facing some other problem may be home front.. or ??? ... Just be ROMANTIC everyday so that he will automatically tend to do what you want.... just say what you feel about it. if you feel you still have feelings for him then say "you know these past few days i've been thinking about my future, and i wont have someone who doesnt have a job and treat me like crap, so if you dont grow up and take on your responsibilities then i decided to move on and find someone who does suit my expectations. right now it seems like the only kind of women that will come around in your life will be those sad, helpless, miserable losers who dont have a future lying ahead of them. show me that you want to make things happen". are'nt you happy for that. for me, i think he's just respecting you as his girlfriend. be proud for he's preserving you. everything starts with a simple kiss. just wait. that's the best gift you can ever give to him when you get married. just enjoy life with him and don't think about it right now. guys like him are very rare as of todays generation. just show him how much you love him even without kissing or thouching each other. show him that you are deserving to be loved for just being you.

you can either wait inpatietly for however long he decides to take or you might just have to make the move. not all guys like making the move first so its really how you see him...do you see him as one of those guys that will make the move??? if not then just go for it, i mean youve been togheter a long time so why not try and kiss him to see how he feels, i doubt youll get a bad response...
