mustard with sourkraut, or mustard with relish. no ketchup, ketchup is for hamburgers.

Mustard *and* ketchup. A hotdog is not a hotdog if you leave off either one. But even then I prefer a little more ketchup than mustard. Otherwise, it is just too strong.

My favorite is my hot dog sauce made with ketchup and mustard 1lb of ground beef,kraut,brown sugar all cooked slowly to perfection.its good on a bun even without the dog..You should try it its east to make just cook and drain your meat first then throw the rest in.I just add ingredients till it looks right and when its getting done you can add more ingredients and keep tasteing till its to your likeing!!!!! ITS GREAT! OH YEA DONT FORGET TO ADD ONION IN THE MIX TOO!!!!

ketchup doesn't belong anywhere near a hot dog. mustard, relish, onionls, pickle, pepperonchini, celery salt, on a poppy seed bun. NO KETCHUP

well if you are asking me i eat my hot dog with ketchup because mustard don't have very good taste and i don't feel very good after eating.

Make mine a Vienna or Best's Kosher beef hotdog. I'll take mustard, dill relish, jalepeno pepper slices, chili and shredded cheese on it. Mmmm, the snack that eats like a meal!
