The last time He did, we crucified Him.
Don't worry. When He comes again, "...Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of him. So be it! Amen." (Revelation 1:7)

If He did appear to everyone individually, He would probably get despised by most of them, because of different values - if they could handle the meeting. Possibly the full sight of God in all His power and purity, would be such a shock to even the most pure, that our bodies could not cope. But Jesus does say in the bible that if we seek, we shall find, and in Hebrews 11 it says God rewards those who diligently seek him.
We do believe we have revelation of God's action in the bible, and especially in Jesus Messiah, and this guides our minds. When christians believe, they can receive the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of God, who is everywhere, and yet manifests one-on-one or one-to-church, as opposed to God the Father, above creation. The christian can know God the Father and Jesus through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, as all have the same character; the Holy Spirit was sent to us so we would not be orphaned after Jesus left.

Because of the the sin of man, God chose not to communicate with mankind the way he had chosen to in the past. He also says even if you did see him you wouldn't believe.
John 6:36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
Jeremiah 44:22 So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.
Plus,
John20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

"I will believe if God will appear to me."
A proud and ignorant sinner who says this has no understanding of the nature of His Creator. No man has ever seen the essence of God. (When God "appeared" to certain men in the Old Testament, He manifested Himself in other forms, such as a burning bush or "the Angel of the Lord.")
When Moses asked to see God’s glory, God told him, "I will make all my goodness pass before you,...[but] you cannot see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live" (Exodus 33:18–23). If all of God’s "goodness" were shown to a sinner, he would instantly die. God’s "goodness" would just spill wrath upon evil man. However, the Lord told Moses, "It shall come to pass, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by." The only way a sinner can live in the presence of a holy God is to be hidden in the Rock of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4).

The key is to perfect these senses, which He has given us. I had this really weird idea last night. You know that part of the brain the science guys say we don't use? I think that's like the God part of our brain. I wish I were better educated so I could research this for understanding. I might try anyway someday if that is what I'm called to do.

Actually, God does appear through perfect mirrors of Himself in the form of human beings, i.e. Manifestations of God (also called Messengers of God, greater Prophets, etc.): Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, the Bab, Baha'u'llah and many others who have appeared throughout history. The latest Manifestation of God was Baha'u'llah, who came in 1863. God is obviously very concerned with humanity and has appeared again through Baha'u'llah.

The point is you need to believe. The promise of everlasting life is given to the people who believe. He is there you cannot see him. Most of the evil in the world is man made. God gave us the blank canvas we man have drawn a picture of greed and despair. Believe he is waiting for you.

John D:
Thank your lucky stars God has not manifested himself.
“.....no man may see me and yet live.” Exodus 33:20.
Please do not insist that seeing is believing.
Stacks of people witnessed the miracles of Jesus.
Did they become believers?
No.
God gave us a brain, a mind, reasoning powers.
Let's use them!
BTW Jesus is not God.

He did. He sent his only begotten son who fulfilled over 300 prophecies. If there was ever a historical, traceable real flesh and blood person it was Jesus, yet there are people who claim he never existed. People want to make up their reality as they go. It makes life so much easier.
Shalom.
