The value of your truck depends on what condition it is in, and what kind of options you have added to it (i.e. towing package, running boards, etc.). You can go to http://www.kbb.com to check the value of your truck. Click on "used car values by make and model." Make sure you put in all the accurate information needed, such as milage, etc. My husband also has a 1997 Dodge Ram (1500, club cab, 4wd) and the value of it is $8430.

try kbb.com, or edmunds.com. Both will give you values for resale, trade-in, etc. Keep in mind though that people rarely get the Kelly price or Edmunds price for their cars and trucks...expect about 80% or so.
